KARACHI: Renaming NWFP as Khyber-Pakhtoonkhwa turns out to be an expensive proposition worth a staggering 8 billion rupees, reports DawnNews.
According to sources in the NWFP government, all the updated and renamed documents will cost about 5 billion rupees.
Whereas the Federal Government will have to bear a 3 billion rupee expense on updating and renaming various documents.
The documents which have already been printed with the province still bearing the NWFP badge will be destroyed. These documents, including the stationary, have already cost the government 4 billion rupees.
According to official sources, work to revise the documents will begin shortly.
